Why The Church of Almighty God Is Said to Believe in God Incarnate
The two largest religions in the world—Christianity and Catholicism—both believe in the Lord Jesus and acknowledge that He was the incarnation of God. From the outside, the Lord Jesus appeared to be an ordinary and normal Son of man, but He had a divine essence, He expressed the truth and bestowed upon man the way of repentance, was crucified for humanity’s sake, performed the work of redemption, ended the Age of Law, and began the Age of Grace, thereby fulfilling the prophecy of the Messiah in the Old Testament. The Lord Jesus was the incarnation of God; He was the Savior of mankind. Now, in the last days, the Lord Jesus has returned, in the flesh, as Almighty God, Christ of the last days. Almighty God is no different than the Lord Jesus: From the outside, He appears to be an ordinary Son of man with normal humanity, but moreover, He possesses complete divinity. Almighty God has expressed all truths to purify and save humanity, performed the work of judgment in the last days, ended the Age of Grace, and begun the Age of Kingdom. Almighty God is the incarnation of God—the righteous God who judges mankind.
Almighty God says, “The ‘incarnation’ is God’s appearance in the flesh; God works among created mankind in the image of the flesh. So for God to be incarnated, He must first be flesh, flesh with normal humanity; this is the most basic prerequisite. In fact, the implication of God’s incarnation is that God lives and works in the flesh, that God in His very essence becomes flesh, becomes a man” (“The Essence of the Flesh Inhabited by God” in The Words Appears in the Flesh). “He who is God incarnate shall possess the essence of God, and He who is God incarnate shall possess the expression of God. Since God becomes flesh, He shall bring forth the work He intends to do, and since God becomes flesh, He shall express what He is, and shall be able to bring the truth to man, bestow life upon him, and point the way for him. Flesh that does not have the essence of God is decidedly not the incarnate God; of this there is no doubt” (Preface to The Word Appears in the Flesh). From Almighty God’s words, it can be seen that the incarnation is God’s Spirit come to earth, wearing flesh as an ordinary person. He has a normal humanity, but also has complete divinity. From the outside, Christ looks ordinary and normal, but He has His divine essence and can express God’s disposition and what God has and is. Moreover, He can express the truth to do the work of purifying and saving humankind, and this is not something that just anyone can achieve. The appearance and work of Almighty God completely fulfills the prophecies in the Bible about the return of the Lord Jesus: “For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:27). “Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes” (Matthew 24:44). “And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work shall be” (Revelation 22:12). “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God” (1 Peter 4:17). Almighty God is the Son of man as prophesied in the Bible. That is, He is God incarnate, who has expressed all truths to purify and save mankind and performed His work of judgment, beginning in God’s house. Most of these utterances are collected in the book, The Word Appears in the Flesh. The words expressed by Almighty God reveal all of the truths and mysteries of God’s six-thousand-year management plan for the salvation of man, the purpose of His three stages of work, the mystery of His incarnation, how Satan corrupts mankind, how God then purifies, saves, and perfects man, people’s future destinations, and so on, all of which thoroughly verifies that Christ is the truth, the way, and the life, and that only God can express the truth and uncover mysteries. Humans are without the truth, much less are they capable of performing the work of saving mankind. All of the truths expressed by Almighty God make it evident to us that Almighty God is the incarnation of God and that He is the appearance of Christ in the last days.
More than two thousand years ago, when the incarnated Lord Jesus appeared and performed His work, He was condemned as a mere man—as the son of a carpenter—by the chief priests, the teachers, and the Pharisees of Judaism (refer to Matthew 13:55). However, two thousand years later, the gospel of the Lord Jesus has spread throughout the universe and to the ends of the earth. God’s second incarnation has now appeared and is performing His work, and the pastors and elders of the religious world wildly condemn Almighty God as a mere man. However, God’s flock hear His voice, and many people, from all religions and all denominations, who sincerely believe in the Lord and long for God to appear and work, hear His voice within the words of Almighty God. They have affirmed that Almighty God is indeed the returned Lord Jesus, and one after another, they have come back before God. All that originates from God will flourish. In just over twenty short years, Almighty God’s gospel of the last days has spread throughout the Chinese mainland, and is right now extending to all the nations and all places of the world. A growing number of people are turning to Almighty God; this is decided by His unique authority and power and, moreover, is the embodiment of God’s almightiness and wisdom. These facts are sufficient proof that the words of Almighty God are the truth, the way, and the life; Almighty God is the incarnated Christ, and He is the appearance of the savior in the last days. This is incontrovertible!
